Understanding the Symptoms of Schizophrenia

V. Anantha Panamanabhan

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a chronic brain disorder that affects about one percentage of the population. When schizophrenia is active, symptoms can include delusions, hallucinations, trouble with thinking and concentration and lack of motivation. The modern psychology as a science describes schizophrenia as a brain or mental disorder. It suggests no permanent cure to this disorder, though it can be managed and treated.
