Abstract
series of novel N’-[(aryl)methylene]-5-substituted-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of substituted pyrazole carbohydrazide with functionalized aromatic aldehydes. The compounds were characterised using IR, 1H NMR and mass spectral. All the newly synthesized compounds were tested for antimicrobial (Staphylococcus aureus CIP 4.83, Pseudomonas aeruginosa CIP 82-118, Bacillus subtilis CIP 52-62) and antifungal (Candida albicas CIP 48.72) activity.
