Abstract

The CdII , ZnII, of salen type complexes of Schiff base were synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, electronic spectra, and thermal analyses. The structure has been assigned based on the above analyses. Catalytic study has been carried out for redox reactions. All complexes are diamagnetic. Antimicrobial activity of these compounds has been measured
