Abstract
To study the chemical constituents of Camellia japonica L. Its chemical constituents were separated by using various modern chromatographic methods, using physicochemical properties combined with the spectral data of compounds. The isolation of 11 compounds, respectively quercetin ,Ⅰã€ÂÂÂ(-)epicatechin , Ⅱã€ÂÂÂtellimagrandinⅡ, Ⅲã€ÂÂÂstrictinin , Ⅳ〠1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 6-penta-O-galloyl-b-D-glucose ,Ⅴã€ÂÂÂpedunculagin , Ⅵã€ÂÂÂheterophylliin A ,Ⅶã€ÂÂÂcasuariin ,Ⅷ〠camelliatanninA , Ⅸã€ÂÂÂcamelliatannin B , Ⅹã€ÂÂÂcamelliatannin C , Ⅺ.Conclusion: all the compounds were obtained from Camellia japonica L.
