QSAR/QSPR: Designing of new non-steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) considering ibuprofen as a lead compound followed by their synthesis and evaluation

Abstract

Computer-aided Drug Discovery and Development (CADDD) is used for virtual screening of various compounds to discover a new drug. In this way five novels anti-inflammatory drug are selected by virtual screening and they are only synthesized. Further, these novel NSAIDs are evaluated and found to have comparable anti- inflammatory activity to Ibuprofen.
