Abstract

Synthesis of complexes of 2-hydroxy-5-methyl chalcone and 2-Hydroxy-5-methyl-4-methoxy chalcone with metal FeSO4 and CaCl2 The result of effect of ligand metal ion complex on germination, survival and seedling height clearly reveals that the ligand (Chalcone) shows a significant better performance over the all system.The complexes have been characterized by analytical and IR, 1H NMR
