Abstract

Carbon monoxide exposure remains a public health concern worldwide. Despite the burden that monoxide exerts, important contestation exists relating to optimum treatment of exposed persons. specific contestation exists around medical specialty effects of monoxide exposure, however best to judge for neurocognitive pathology, and effects on the craniate of pregnant girls. This review focuses on the mechanism of injury from monoxide, and summarizes the information relating to neurocognitive pathology and vertebrate effects of exposure.
