Abstract
Phytochemical examination of aerial part of Solanum surattens afforded 3-oxo-oleane-9(11)-ene (I), lupeol acetate (II), lupa-12(13),20(29)-diene-3-one (III), stigmasterol (IV), b-sitosterol (V) and tomatidenol (VI). Characterization of these compounds was done on the basis of spectral studies.
