Abstract

Improving the Quality and Reliability of Gas Exchange Measurements With the advancement of portable gas exchange systems, measuring foliage gas exchange (photosynthesis, respiration and transpiration) has become common in a wide range of disciplinary areas. Modern instruments are easy to operate and generally require little or no user calibration. In fact some equipment can generate photosynthetic response curves to light and carbon dioxide automatically.
