Abstract
Grape juice catalysed synthesis of bis (indolyl) methane derivatives were accomplished via condensation of different aryl aldehydes with indole in aqueous medium on reflux to furnish the product in excellent yield. The grape juice can be extracted very easily and reaction goes to completion with in few hours. The approach is totally nonpolluting having several advantages, such as shorter reaction time mild reaction condition and simple workup
