Abstract
We show that the Standard Model (SM) represents a self-contained multifractal set on spacetime having arbitrarily small deviations from four-dimensionality (D = 4 – ïÂ¥, ïÂ¥ <<1). All coupling charges residing on this background (gauge, Higgs and Yukawa) satisfy a closure relationship that a) tightly constrains the flavor and mass content of the SM and b) naturally solves the “hierarchy problemÂÂÂâ€, without resorting to new concepts reaching beyond the physics of the SM.
