Abstract

The aim of the present work is to formulate NPs for ATE drug. ATE is a selective 1 receptor antagonist, a drug belonging to the group of -blockers, a class of drugs used primarily in cardiovascular diseases. The NPs were prepared by ionotropic pre-gelation method. The concentration of PEI, Sodium Alginate and ATE were taken into consideration. The prepared formulations were further evaluated for characterization like surface morphology,particle size distribution, zetapotential and drug excipient interaction study by FTIR spectroscopy.
