Dynamics simulation of automobile steady-state veer characteristics

Abstract

In this paper, by applying mechanical system simulation ADAMS, the full vehicle multi - body model was created. The vehicle dynamic simulation was carried out. The effects of k ingpin inclination and k ingpin caster angle on stead y - state steering characteristics were studied. The result showed that k ingpin inclination and k ingpin caster angle have the greater effect on veer stability. Vehicle scanty veer property is improved by adding k ingpin inclination and k ingpin caster angle
