Abstract

The present paper is a characterization; physic-chemical, mineralogical and rheological of wastewater sludge. Physico-chemical characteristics summers determined by the standard methods. Rheological parameters are obtained by fitting the experimental data of various shear rates γ ̇ from 0 to 100 s-1, under a series of Tota Suspended Solids content and constant temperature (20 ± 2°C). The rheometer used is an RS600. Physicochemical analysis and mineralogical watch the existence of heavy metals. The dolomite, turquoise and jadeite summers identified by x-ray. The results obtained confirm the non-Newtonian behavior of sludge. The faithful model to describe its behavior is that of Ostwald- wael.
