Abstract
In the present study, a series of novel pyrazole derivatives have been synthesized using chalcones. The compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR analysis. The compounds have been evaluated in vitro for their antimicrobial activity against various strains of gram positive, gram negative bacteriae and also fungi. The studies revealed that acetylated pyrazole derivatives exhibited moderate to good antibacterial activity and a highly significant antifungal activity.
