An efficient synthetic method for the preparation of 2-phenylethanamine thiazoline using Pd(PPh3)4 as an effective catalyst under mild conditions

Abstract

An efficient synthetic method for the preparation of 2-phenylethanamine thiazoline with good yield is described by using Pd(PPh3)4 as an effective catalyst under mild conditions for deprotection of Allyloxy carbonyl (Alloc) group. The use of (CH3CO2)2Pd2+ ,(C17H14O)2Pd, C16H24Cl2Ir2, (COD)2Ni, AuCl3 was unsuccessful whereas the use of iodine I2 in presence of DMSO led to thiazole.
