Abstract
The adsorption behaviors of Hematoporphyrin-IX (HP-IX) on Kaolinite and Montmorillonite were studied. The adsorption behaviors differed noticeably according to the structure of the clay. The adsorption was more preferable onMontmorillonite than on Kaolinite. HP-IX adsorption is affected by temperature and increased by increasing the dielectric constant of the used solvent.
