Abstract
Over the past ten years, the global market for large molecule therapeutics has rapidly grown for the treatment of a variety of diseases. LBA and LC-MS are two platforms widely used in pharmacokinetic bioanalysis. In this paper, we compare LBA and LC-MS and summarize their strengths and limitations. Strategies for platform selection are provided according to the study purpose, study phase, analyte types, assay requirements and other factors.
