Murat YABANLI

Abstract

Aquaculture in our country’s sea and fresh waters is generally carried out in monocultural systems. Fish farming has some negative effects on the water and the sediment which are the receiver environment. In the prevention of nutrient enrichment which is one of the leading problems, the integrated farming of fish and seaweed which is economically valuable and acts as biofilter has great importance for environment friendly and sustainable aquaculture.
