A new series of 1,4,3,5-oxathiadiazepanes 4, 4-dioxydes containing thiophene or pyridine ring have been synthesized by the reactions of N'-benzyl-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-sarcosine or proline sulfamide with thiophencarboxaldehyde or pyridinecarboxaldehyde in a cycolodehydration reaction through two methods
